Eric Clapton says touring has "become unbearable" to him.
The rock legend tells Uncut magazine he's once again considering retiring from the road, because it "takes so long to get anywhere" and having to navigate airports and travel by plane and car is "hostile."
Eric says instead of touring he'd like to "carry on recording in the studio," provided he doesn't "boil to the point where" he's "embarrassing" himself. He explains that he has "odd ailments" that sometimes makes playing painful for him.
Clapton also admits he's "looking at retirement, too." The guitar great, who'll turn 70 next March, told Rolling Stone just before his 68th birthday he would be retiring from the road when he's 70 because the traveling is a "struggle" for him.
